divJust after 430pm the Box alarm for a reported house fire was dispatched for 8061 Springfield Rd in Bowie sending Truck 28 Chief 28A and Chief 48A to the scene. Units arrived reporting a 2 story single family dwelling with fire showing from the attic. Chief 48A arrived and established Command. Truck 28 went to the second floor and dropped the ceiling to give the engines access to extinguish the fire. The bulk of the fire was knocked with in 15 mins and the assignment was held with 2amp2 after 30 mins. The cause of the fire is under investigation. nbsp nbspdivpp
