pJust before 1900 hrs the box alarm was sounded in Chillum Co. 34 for the apartment fire. Shortly thereafter Truck 28 was dispatched on the second alarm and arrived just minutes later. The Truck crew went to the rear of the building to clear a gate for an incoming engine crew and then began throwing ladders and opening up. The men operated on scene for just over an hour before returning to service.p
