divAnother night and yet another fire. At 1250am the box alarm was hit for the house fire with numerous calls at 8504 Shelley Ct. in Bowie. This sending Truck 28 Engine 48 and Chief 28A to the scene. Units arrived to find a two story signal family dwelling with fire showing from the garage and second floor. Truck 28 arrived got ladders in place and went to division 2 to search open up and get in front of the fire by dropping the ceiling and getting to the attic quick. Engine 48s crew got a backup line to the second floor to stop the spread of the fire. Chief 28A had Division 2 and worked with the crews to extinguish the fire and check for extension. nbspSearches were negative and no civilian injuries were reported.nbspThe fire was under control in about 30 mins and WLHVFD units did not clear the scene until 3am.divdivnbspdivdivTwo firefighter on the scene were injured and transported to area hospitals. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.nbspFour adults and one child were displaced from the fire and fire loss placed at approximately 200000 total for structure and contents.divpnbspp
