It is with great sadness we inform you that Honorary West Lanham Hills Chief John Hoglund has passed. A long time resident of New Carrollton, Chief John W. Hoglund was the past Director of Maryland Fire Rescue Institute and Chaplain Emeritus of the Maryland Fire Chiefs Association.
John was known for being a great leader and educator of the fire service. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
