divShortly after 11 am the House assignment was dispatched for 4702 Rocky Spring Lane in Bowie. With 28 on another run this put Engine 48 as forth due engine. Chief 48A went on the scene reporting a one story single family with smoke showing. Chief 19 arrived to establish Command and gave 48A Division 1. nbspUnits found fire in the attic space. Crews did a quick primary search proving negative while the trucks dropped the ceiling and exposed heavy fire in the attic area that the engine crews put a quick knock on. Chief 28 arrived and was assigned the Attic Division along with Engine 48. The fire was brought under control quickly and units opened up checking for extension.
