Her daughter escaped without her cell phone and was able wake up the neighbors who alerted the 911 center. First arriving firefighters were not able to make entry due to furniture and other items blocking the front entry to the house.pp stylemargin 6px 0px color rgb29 33 41 font-family Helvetica Arial sans-serif font-size 14pxWest Lanham Hills Firefighter Nolte ascended through a window to gain access to the hspan classtextexposedshow styledisplay inlineouse. Chief Simmons located the victim in a hospital bed. Firefighter Nolte placed himself and his hose line between him and the victim. Firefighter Nolte continued to knock down the fire while the rescue team of Assistant Chief Simmons and Firefighters Pacheco and Long removed the victim from her bed and fire conditions. Obstacles throughout the room and the condition of the patient made this rescue challenging. Sergeant Kennedy notified command by radio that a victim had been located and a rescue was underway. There was great coordination and assistance from the additional first responders on the scene. The patient is listed in critical condition at a local hospital.pp stylemargin 6px 0pxThe West Lanham Hills Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is proud of the men and woman who serve our department and neighborhood daily by volunteering.pp stylemargin 6px 0pxa stylecolor rgb54 88 153 cursor pointer text-decoration none hrefhttpl.facebook.coml.phpuhttp3A2F2Fwjla.com2Fnews2Flocal2F74-year-old-woman-in-critical-condition-after-house-fire-in-prince-georges-countyamphBAQEB70PbAQF3Gxs6xPQuaHCg4PwMc4YfMCRVmr75ZhnTgampencAZPBabuhqq1uzzBrTthmV9aLMiyhd7Nw96Ba9zX-G412Z4TZdxqImLf3oD4W2bZ2nDDHpC9zSY8ME0maiCcNrxVXK-wLNRSUxM9yCTdtxwFi9tsbXcD5IgHmigtgE-hSZQsu6EE3PPb09dEGFSs8BRN0YwqSlAQPJI4ADJwVORkZ8kTRp0GUnX7v85iQamps1 targetblank relnofollow fcksavedurlhttpl.facebook.coml.phpuhttp3A2F2Fwjla.com2Fnews2Flocal2F74-year-old-woman-in-critical-condition-after-house-fire-in-prince-georges-countyamphBAQEB70PbAQF3Gxs6xPQuaHCg4PwMc4YfMCRVmr75ZhnTgampencAZPBabuhqq1uzzBrTthmV9aLMiyhd7Nw96Ba9zX-G412Z4TZdxqImLf3oD4W2bZ2nDDHpC9zSY8ME0maiCcNrxVXK-wLNRSUxM9yCTdtxwFi9tsbXcD5IgHmigtgE-hSZQsu6EE3PPb09dEGFSs8BRN0YwqSlAQPJI4ADJwVORkZ8kTRp0GUnX7v85iQamps1httpwjla.com74-year-old-woman-in-critical-condition-aapdivpp
