Passing of Paramedic Brian Bregman

For the past 16 years, Brian served as a reserve Police Officer with the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. He was also a firefighter and paramedic with the Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department, as well as a Maryland based forensic death investigator for the Medical Examiner’s Office.

For the last two decades, Brian worked full time as an Attorney and practiced law in the same building where he was killed. He was an incredibly knowledgeable lawyer who had a reputation for being a wizard when it came to statutory law. Whenever other lawyers had a legal question or needed help with a case, they would often call him and he’d offer his expertise without hesitation. Brian was also an avid world traveler, and had visited nearly 30 countries on 6 continents (he even spent time working as a firefighter and paramedic in Antarctica).

Brian will be missed by all us in the Prince George’s County Community, Fire Department and Public Safety Sectors.
