Just after 2030 hrs Engine Companies 48 28 were dispatched to the 8100 block of Bird Lane in Lanham48. Engine 48 arrived first and reported nothing showing from a middle-of-the-row townhome. The crew stretched a line and upon entry to the home found heavy smoke in the upstairs bedroom. Engine 28 arrived 3rd and stretched a 500 attack line to the exposure house. Engine 48 extinguished the fire and crews returned to service shortly after.
