pThe 28 Volunteers made a house call for a young boy in need of some good cheer this Holiday Season. Silver Brownwho turned 5 todayhas been battling Bilateral Uveitis since the age of 2 and is losing his vision. When the Volunteers heard about this and about his love for fire trucks we decided to pay a visit to young Silver. The Volunteers of 28 staffing both Engine amp Truck rolled in with lights and sirens to suprise him and his family at their West Lanham home. Silver accompanied by his mother Melissa was shown the rigs shook hands with all of the firemen and was even given a ride in Engine 282. Silvers mom almost in tears was at a loss for words and could not thank us enough for stopping by but the look on the young boys face was more than enough of a thank-you.p
